Abel Simón Cotado is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt under Sergio “Canudo” Zimmermann and the founder of Casa de Luta MMA Saarbrücken in Germany.
With more than 30 years of martial arts experience, Abel has coached athletes from complete beginners to elite competitors, including UFC fighter Noah Gugnon, ADCC athletes, NAGA champions, IBJJF competitors, and professional MMA fighters. He is known for his innovative coaching methods, leg lock systems, and his work combining Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with wrestling and ecological dynamics.
Outside the academy, Abel is a content creator and founder of the ABELBJJ: 5 MINUTES ALONE, training and interviewing world-renowned musicians from bands such as Billy Graziadei (Biohazard), Matt Heafy (Trivium), Eugene Abdukhanov (Jinjer), Dennis Vichidvongsa (Speed), Harley Flanagan (Cro-Mags), Matt Garzilli (Sworn Enemy), Cary Singman (Striking13), etc.

Katrin Welker is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt under Sergio “Canudo” Zimmermann and co-founder of Casa de Luta MMA Saarbrücken. She leads the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Kids programs, combining years of competitive experience with a passion for coaching, self-defense, and personal development.
Her expertise extends beyond competition, specializing in women’s self-defense, children’s empowerment, anti-bullying (Mobbingprävention), violence prevention (Gewaltprävention), and civil courage (Zivilcourage). Through martial arts, she helps women and children build confidence, resilience, awareness, and the skills to deal with challenging situations safely and effectively.
Katrin also holds the Übungsleiter F License in Muay Thai, allowing her to combine striking fundamentals with practical self-defense concepts.

Roman Kapranov is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt (3rd Degree) under Sergio “Canudo” Zimmermann and one of the head Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu coaches at Casa de Luta MMA Saarbrücken. With an extensive background in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts, he combines elite competition experience with years of coaching athletes of all levels.
Before dedicating himself to coaching, Roman built an impressive MMA career, competing in 17 professional MMA fights and 2 amateur MMA fights, while earning recognition as one of Germany’s top MMA athletes. His experience inside the cage allows him to bring a practical, competition-tested approach to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, grappling, and MMA training.
Today, Roman teaches Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and works closely with students preparing for competition, helping them develop strong fundamentals, technical precision, and a winning mindset.

Kickboxing & MMA Coach | Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Brown Belt
Lukas Seimetz is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Brown Belt under Abel Simón and one of the striking coaches at Casa de Luta MMA Saarbrücken. With over two decades of martial arts experience, he combines technical expertise, sports science, and years of coaching to help students of all levels develop confidence, discipline, and high-level striking skills.
Beginning his martial arts journey in Karate in 2002, Lukas earned his Black Belt, became a multiple State Champion, and was selected for the State Team (Landeskader). In 2017, he obtained the official Muay Thai Übungsleiter License (MTBD) and has been coaching Kickboxing and Muay Thai since 2018.
Alongside his martial arts career, Lukas studied Sport Science and Physics at Saarland University and has worked as a teacher since 2021, bringing a structured and educational approach to every class.
Today, Lukas teaches Kickboxing, Muay Thai and MMA, helping beginners, hobby athletes, and competitors reach their full potential.

Alongside coaching, Carlo continues to compete at the highest amateur level, representing Casa de Luta in national and international MMA events.
